I made the first custom Chrome theme just after it first came out and got around 20K hits and a bunch of ad clicks and stuff. Long story short, G killed my ads and I took down the theme. I still get a lot of hits from all the backlinks it generated, but I hate to support them in any way. I’m kinda torn because I know it will bring in a lot more traffic (nothing near the original bump, but still) but I’m still extremely disgusted with them.

The other side of it is that themes aren’t really my niche, but it’s something I like to do and I’d rather not host my crap on rapidshare. I don’t know what to do… If nothing else, I am known for the lengths I will go to hold a grudge.
