mwormIt’s sad news for the application security sector as submissions are closed over at milw0rm, the best place to get the word out on critical vulnerabilities for the last 5 years. It actually seems like longer than that to me, but I guess internet time is messing with my head. str0ke’s announcement comes as quite a shock, but I can fully understand his position. He always kept track of stuff, and if I’m not mistaken, verified every submission to the site. I know that web app sec has become an important philosophy and evolved over time, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without str0ke, milw0rm, the thousands of authors who mainly just want to get the word out with full disclosure.

I sincerely hope that some great security guru comes along to pick up the reins. I will miss it regardless.
